School Counselors meet with each Junior and their parents/guardians during an individually scheduled Junior Conference. During this conference, your School Counselor will discuss your senior year program of studies/courses, post-secondary planning , and review the college search/research and application process. Important topics include, but are not limited to: planning your courses for Senior year, transcript overview, how to utilize our college planning tool - Naviance, SAT/ACT information, completing your College Profile Survey, and how to begin the process of searching, researching and exploring colleges.
Starting early January and continuing through spring, MHS School Counselors hold one-on-one meetings with their Junior students and their families for Junior Conferences—a pivotal step in post-secondary planning. During this conference, School Counselors guide Junior students and their families through important topics such as (but not limited to):
