Engineering Robotics is a two marking period STEM elective offered to 7th graders. In Engineering Robotics, students will design and fabricate robots through the fundamentals of system assembly, DC motors, and various sensors. Students will utilize block-based and script-based computer programming languages on their chromebooks in order to program their robots to complete real-world tasks and challenges! In addition to ground-based rover style robots, students will also learn about the fundamentals of flight as they program autonomous flying robot drones! Drones have flooded the robotics and technology industries in the fields of videography, photography, media, shipping, research, public safety, and recreation. In the Engineering Robotics, students will get hands on with this emerging technology as they program their drones to complete real-world missions and challenges!
