“Get Smart” was an American action-comedy Spy TV series that parodied the secret agent genre popular in the late 1960s. The TV show ran from 1965-1970. Maxwell Smart, a.k.a. Agent 86, works for CONTROL, a Washington, D.C.-based counterintelligence agency. Totally incompetent as a secret agent, Smart can barely use the gadgetry the agency provides him (including a phone embedded in his shoe). Nevertheless, he and his fellow agents always seem to foil the operations of KAOS, an organized crime cartel dedicated to evil. Agent 99 is Smart's smarter partner, a glamourous and resourceful female agent who is much more competent than her male counterpart. Smart and Agent 99's boss is a man known only as "The Chief".
In the stage play, Smart is off on a bizarre new case in which he must stop the sinister organization known as KAOS from their most shameful plot yet. Their plan this time is to prove their power by blowing up a famous American landmark! Smart springs (perhaps we should say stumbles) into action with the assistance of a new partner, the beautiful Agent 99. Smart proceeds from one gigantic blunder to another, each, however, somehow turning into a master stroke of luck. This show is the ultimate spoof of all secret agent thrillers.
The full rehearsal schedule will be posted once the show has been casted.
(There will be no Friday rehearsals until November to account for Football season)
All scheduled rehearsals August-October will be in the evenings from approx. 5:30pm - 8pm - watch the BandAPP Calendar for specific dates and times
1st Official Read-Thru - Thursday, August 7th 5:30-7:30pm

Set Construction Days : TBD
- All set constructions will run approx. 12pm - 6pm unless otherwise notes.
All students involved in the Fall Play will be required to attend & help with at least 1 Set Construction Day. This may involve building sets, painting, or helping with costumes/organizing props/prop room.
We are a team and the more we work together the more successful we will be. In order to do another amazing set this year more participation and effort is required and expected this year!
Parents are encouraged to attend set construction as well and help be a part of the team that makes this show special. We especially welcome those familiar with/who own power tools, are comfortable with painting, are good at sewing/altering clothes, etc., but these skills are not a requirement. Remember - it takes a village.
Tech Week: Nov. 10-14 & Nov. 17 - 5pm - 8:30pm - Notes will be from 8-8:30
Dress Rehearsals: Nov. 18-20, 3:30pm - 8:30pm - All students are to stay after school to get in costume/mics, 3:30 is curtain & the first run through will begin promptly at that time - 1hr for dinner each night at 5:30pm - Notes will be from 8-8:30

Sat. Nov. 22: 5:00 call, 7:30 curtain
Sun. Nov. 23: 1:00 call, 3:30 curtain, plus 3 hours after the show for STRIKE & Cast Party
100% Mandatory attendance is required for all Cast & Crew the weeks of Tech Week & Dress Rehearsal & Performances.
