Jazz Band
Students will learn all about the fundamentals of jazz-style playing while preparing three songs to perform for our elective concert on Thursday afternoon. This elective is VERY popular so selection will be based on grade, instrument, and timestamp of registration.
Bucket Drumming
Learn rhythm and performance skills using buckets and drumsticks - no percusison experience required! Like Jazz Band, this elective will perform at the elective concert on Thursday afternoon.
Marching Band Basics
A great choice for rising 9th graders that might be starting marching band this fall. Get a head start on the basics of marching and playing your instrument.
Conducting
Learn the basics of conducting various time signatures, styles, and how to understand a musical score.
Color Guard Basics
Campers will get to learn all about being a part of a marching band flag line.
Beginning Piano
Interested in getting started on piano? This is a great way to. get introduced to the basics of playing piano.
Student Leadership
Setting goals, solving problems, and serving others. Learn how to be a leader in any situation!
Secondary Instruments
Have fun learning how to play a second instrument! Bring your own instrument and learn the basics of a new to you instrument. Important - students must bring their own instrument; secondary instruments are not provided.
