The multimedia used in your presentation needs to be organized, interesting, and focused. Don’t put everything you are going to say on the presentation. This does two things: 1. It is very tempting to read your presentation instead of learning and knowing the material, and 2. It bores the audience to no end. Be succinct and concise with your information the audience will see.
Be sure to practice before you present. Presenting is difficult, and practicing will only help you improve. Find some friends or family members for whom you can present and get their opinions of your performance.
