A good way to begin practicing writing is to write about something familiar. What can be more familiar to you than you? Do your best when writing this because this will be the starting point for your future writings.
English I - You will write about yourself. You can tell me whatever you feel comfortable with. Your family, likes/dislikes, experiences you've had, etc. This is for me to get to know you and also to see your writing for the first time.
English II - You will write about your future. What are your goals? Are you going to get a job when you graduate or go to college? Where do you want to live, work, etc? You can tell me about pets you want or houses or whatever you can think of.
Be sure to proofread any essay before submitting it. This is best done by reading it aloud to yourself or someone you trust. You can catch many silly mistakes this way.
