Troubleshooting Camera Access

First time approval

The first time a site requests to use your microphone Chrome will display a pop-up to Allow or Block access. This only has to be Allowed once per site. If you are having issues with microphone access or accidentally Blocked access in the past, follow the steps below.

STEP 1: Open Site Info Menu

Click the lock or not secure button next to the URL of the website you are visiting in the Chrome menubar. Microphone access will be displayed, change the dropdown from Blocked to Allow.

STEP 2: Refresh Your Page

If the microphone does not immediately start working as expected, refresh the webpage.

If you do not see Microphone in the Site Info Menu

STEP 1: Open Full Site Settings

Click the lock or not secure button next to the URL of the website you are visiting in the Chrome menubar, then click site settings.

STEP 2: Allow Microphone

Scroll down the list of options until you find Microphone. Change the dropdown menu from Blocked to Allow. Close the tab when finished.

STEP 3: Refresh Your Page

If the microphone does not immediately start working as expected, refresh the webpage.
