Next Steps & Moving Forward

Now what? Welcome to Lynchburg Reimagined.

With change comes opportunity. The university is not simply cutting back — it's reinvesting, reinventing, and identifying areas where we can make the biggest impact for our students, our employees, and the future.

New initiatives to look forward to:

Solutions Center

This reimagined one-stop shop combines service-oriented departments into one center so that faculty, staff, and students can find the help they need all in one place.

Employees will be cross-trained so that anyone can at least triage a student or employee’s question or problem regarding issues such as course scheduling, HR benefits, IT help, parking, student accounts, financial aid, etc.

Center for Hornet Connections

This exciting initiative brings alumni, employers, and community members together to help students become first-choice applicants for top-notch organizations across the country. Students can leverage the Center to discover their Clifton Strengths, get specialized training through LinkedIn Learning and Duolingo Campus, be matched with an alumni mentor, and take courses through our Professional Development Institute to maximize their professionalism skills. And that's just the beginning...

Performing Arts Consortium

The University will be partnering with community partners like the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra, Wolfbane Theater Productions,  Lynchburg Academy of the Arts, and other incredible arts organizations to empower the artist in everyone.

These expanded opportunities allow our students to perform for public audiences while learning firsthand from professionals in the field.

So, what happens next?

It's time to start moving from this moment into the future.
