Dear Community Members,

As I begin my seventh year serving as Superintendent of Uinta County School District #6, I find myself reflecting with gratitude on the journey we’ve taken together and with excitement for the road ahead. By now, many of you know me well—not just as an educator, but as a fellow parent, neighbor, and advocate for our students. My wife Ashley and I, along with our five children, are proud to call this community our home.

Over the past six years, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible strengths of our district: a dedicated staff, supportive families, and a community that rallies around its schools. Together, we have celebrated student achievements in classrooms, on the stage, and on the playing fields. We have also faced challenges head-on, always keeping our focus on what matters most—the success and well-being of every student.

Looking forward, my vision for our district is grounded in three guiding commitments:

• Putting Students First – Every decision we make must ensure that our students are safe, supported, and equipped with the skills they need for their future.

• Excellence in Teaching and Learning – With strong access to technology and innovative tools, we will continue to push instruction forward, integrating new approaches like artificial intelligence while never losing sight of the human connection at the heart of education.

• Community and Collaboration – Schools are strongest when they work hand in hand with families and the broader community. Transparency, communication, and shared responsibility will continue to guide how we move forward together.
  
  

I am proud of the foundation we’ve built, and I believe the best is still ahead. With continued teamwork, creativity, and a focus on equity and opportunity for all, we can prepare our students not just to succeed in today’s world, but to lead and shape tomorrow’s.
