Hogmanay's performance art is an absolutely spectacular fireworks show!
Students created a coat of arms based on their interests, goals, history and the people in their lives. They also selected a lyric from Aul Lang Syne and practiced calligraphy and uncial lettering.
Students learned about the song Auld Lang Syne for their celebration of Hogmanay. Auld Lang Syne translates to for old times sake.. It is a tradition in Scotland to hold hands in a circle and sing Auld Lang Syne just before midnight to ring in the new year.
