Classroom #20’s multicultural project this year was the celebration of Hanukkah in the Jewish religion. We learned the origins of the holiday and the importance of its meaning. Students colored print outs of items that are symbols for the Hanukkah holiday. The Dining Hall made potato latkes that are one of the traditional foods that are eaten for this holiday. For the performance art piece of this holiday students chose an animated story about the story of Hanukkah.
Students completed coloring pages celebrating various themes of Hanukkah.
Students chose the song Hanukkah O Hanukkah to celebrate hanukkah in their classroom.
