This year, the day of the dead took place on October 31st-2nd of November.
On the day of the dead we decorate an altar for people who have died with photographs, flowers, paper flowers, fruit, food and things that remind us of the people we have lost.

Students in Bridget's classroom did an in person performance piece. This video has clips of Disney's the movie Coco that shows how traditions from the Day of the dead are represented within the movie.
Students created traditional sugar skulls to celebrate day of the dead.
Students created Papel Picados, a traditional paper craft for their day of the dead alter.

For their Day of the Dead celebration Bridget's class chose to listen to the music from Disney's film Coco. Their favorite song in this film is "remember me" by Anthony Gonzalez.
