We believe in placing your child in a math class that will allow him/her to achieve success and enjoy mathematics. For all current students, placements are conducted at the end of the school year based upon multiple measures that include overall class grade, test/quiz averages, placement test, homework completion/work habits, and teacher recommendation. In order to be recommended to stay in the current level of placement, a student must earn a final overall grade of an A or B in his/her present course and earn a teacher recommendation. All new students will take a placement test when they enroll.

Only students who successfully complete Math 7 Accelerated are eligible to enroll in Algebra Honors. Please email the math department chair, Ms. Trupp, or your student's counselor for more information regarding placement.
