Homework Policy

Overview

Homework is assigned DAILY. Students are expected to write the assignment in their planner within the first 5 minutes of class. Assignments are updated on Google Classroom, however students are ultimately responsible for knowing what homework has been assigned. Be prepared to discuss and correct the previous night's homework in class the following day. Students are expected to make corrections and improvements to their assignments. Fixing one's mistakes and making improvements is a great way to get better at math!

Full credit is given for homework that...

    • is complete, start to finish*

    • shows all work in an orderly fashion

    • is on your desk when the bell rings

Half credit is given for homework that...

    • is missing some of the required math work

No credit is given for homework that...

    • only lists answers with no work

    • is missing or turned in late

    • appears to have been copied from or written by someone else

    • is not on your desk when the bell rings!

*Even if you didn't figure out all of the problems, I will award full credit if you can demonstrate that you made an attempt on every problem (and by demonstrate, I mean show all work!)
