Hey students!
I am very excited to get to know another group of talented AE Wright students. This year, we will be learning a lot and building a supportive and respectful classroom community all while having fun with math.
About me: I am a Scripps College and USC alumna. I am a graduate of the Math for America Los Angeles Early Career fellowship where I researched and developed engaging math curriculum and pedagogy. I grew up in Washington State and I have a major coffee addiction! I love football season and spending time with my daughter, my husband, and my pets.
On this website, you will find many important resources including a materials list, my homework policy, a homework calendar (located under the "Class Information" tab), LVUSD math classes and policies, and a link and instructions for your online textbook. It is expected that all my students visit Google Classroom DAILY to check for updates, review in-class notes, and confirm their homework assignments. Starting good study habits early on can make a huge impact later in the year!
