About Me
This is my tenth year at Chaparral and sixth year in fourth grade. I previously taught kindergarten for three years and first grade for one. Before receiving my teaching credential, I worked as a para-educator in special education at a different elementary school in our district. While there, I received ABA (adaptive behavior analysis) training and learned how to modify lessons and work with a variety of learning styles and needs.
I have a seven-year old rescue dog named Frankie. He's a spunky Australian terrier and my best friend. He's sure to make an appearance at some point this year, so be ready to see his big furry ears and pretty brown eyes!
