I’m stoked and honored to serve as a Commissioner of NHSSM! I’m passionate about medicine and love working with doctors, where I get to learn more about healthcare. Outside of medicine, I love playing lacrosse, which has taught me the importance of teamwork. I also work at the YMCA, where I enjoy connecting with others and giving back to my community. I’m looking forward to bringing my passion, energy, and commitment to NHSSM and making this a great year for everyone!
Hello everyone! I am so honored and thrilled to be one of your NHSSM Commissioners this year, it's going to be an amazing one! Inside of school, I take IB Sports Exercise and Health Science, AP classes, and I'm an FCA leader. Outside of school, I love to study at cafes, hangout with friends, and babysit. I'm especially excited about our new mentorship program this year and the sports games that NHSSM will go to! Feel free to reach out!

Please feel free to introduce yourself to us, we can't wait to connect with you all!
In NHSSM...
We have fun at monthly mixers!
During mixers we play games, eat delicious food, get updated on important dates and assignments coming up
We participate in suture labs!
This is a hands on lab that teaches participants how to create surgical knots to close a wound
We go on exciting field trips!
We have two super fun field trips planned this year so stay tuned to figure out what they are
We bond through the Mentorship Program!
This year we are kickstarting our Mentorship Program! Our mentors will be our Kinesiology 2 and 3 students within NHSSM(A). Our mentees will be our Kinesiology 1 students within NHSSM(A). We will create mentorship groups. See below for more awesome information about the Mentorship Program!
We show school spirit at sports games!
This year, we are going to go to sports games to show our support for Agoura's teams! Students will go with their mentor groups and be able to pick spirit themes.
Expectations
Be respectful - don't talk back, clean up trash after yourselves, say please and thank you
Don’t be a negative-nelly - optimism is key
Communicate - If you have complaints or concerns, feel free to tell NHSSM commissioners, board, or advisors.
Have FUN!
Attend all meetings, and if you can't, please tell us, and we can update you
Have SPIRIT! You only get one high school, so have fun dressing up for the themes.
NHSSM is what you make it out to be - your mindset is everything, so stay positive and excited.
Do your assignments on time - we won’t have hard assignments, so please complete them on time. If you need help, communicate with us. We are willing to sit down with you and help you!
Our sports medicine mentorship program is an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of sports medicine while growing in their KASMA & school community. Kin 1s (the mentees) will be placed in groups with Kin 2s and Kin 3s (the mentors) to form mentor groups. The groups will be decided based on each person's personality, in which everyone in NHSSM will fill out a form based on their qualities. Then, we will match people up with similar traits. Groups will either be 1 mentor to 2 mentees, or 2-3 mentors to 4 mentees. Groups will be able to come up with fun names and go to the sports games, shifts, and hang out outside of school together! The groups will also have to meet before each Kin 1 test to study. These groups are where you can ask your mentors about school, life, and study skills. Throughout the year, each team can earn points, and by the end of each semester, the top groups with the most points will win a prize, experience, or your choice!
This year we will start going to Agoura home games to support our Chargers and promote school spirit. We will go to various Frosh, JV, and Varsity games of all different types of sports. Students will attend these games with their mentor groups and each student must attend 3 games per semester. In total, we will have around 6 games per semester, so students will have plenty of chances to attend. Our games we be super spirited and students can pitch and choose the themes themselves! Get so hyped because there are going to be a lot of fun!
