What is KASMA? 

This program allows students to explore different professions within the medical field.  Students learn hands-on skills used to treat life-threatening and orthopedic injuries.  The Agoura High Kinesiology and Sports Medicine Academy teaches skills needed to succeed in any medical profession, with an emphasis on the sports medicine field.

• NHSSM- National Honors Society of Sports Medicine

• HOSA: Future Health Professionals Organization

Each year, we add new tools and resources to our program, including an Anatomage Virtual Cadaver Table that is being used in medical schools all over the world.  It allows students to bring MRIs, X-rays, and scans to life with a 3D representation.

During this 3-year program, students can gain over 180 hours of internship experience to add to medical program applications.  Besides working with our high school medical staff and sports teams affiliated with Agoura High, students have the opportunity to work with local hospitals, physical therapy offices, and chiropractic clinics, including Los Robles Hospital, BPD Sports Performance, Synergy, Athletic PT, Ventura Orthopedics, Body Logic, and other medical offices in the area.
