PFA / PFC

The LVUSD Parent Parent Portal allows for each site's PFA/PFC to provide documentation to their families through a single portal during Data Confirmation.

Overview

  • Documents will be provided to your front office at your school site
  • PFA/PFC documents will need to be categorized as "Items to Print and Return" or "PFA/PFC General Information"
  • Documents should be created in Adobe PDF
    • Advanced: It is possible to create the documents using Google Docs and other publishing applications
  • Titles should be easily identifiable (ex. "PFC Checklist.pdf" or "PFA Donation Form.pdf")
  • The Data Confirmation has a built-in Parent/Student Directory this year


Is it mandatory for PFA/PFC groups?

Using the LVUSD Parent Data Confirmation system to store PFA/PFC group documents is not mandatory.

How to Assist your school

As a PFA/PFC groups you will be creating documents and providing them to your front office for the LVUSD Data Confirmation system. All documents will go into of the following folders:

  1. School Site Information (This is to be used by the school site not PFA/PFC)
  2. Items to print and return
  3. PFA/PFC General Information
  • Document Creation: For best results, documents created in Adobe PDF form can be uploaded to the Data Confirmation Portal.

  • Content: If there is a question about the content, please work with your school site to ensure documents are approved for posting.
  • Upload Process: All documents will be provided to your front office at your school site (the office manager and principal have access.


PFA/PFC Parent/Student Contact Information

The initial directory information will be provided by your school at the beginning of the school year.

PFA/PFC notification platforms are required to have an opt-out feature ( CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 ).

Where does it go?

Data Confirmation information is stored in to systems. One system is our Aeries Student Information System, the other is Google Apps. This information is used to assist staff in continuing to improve the educational experience as well as safety for your students. Student data (including Data Confirmation data) is only accessible by select individuals to ensure the safety, security, and privacy of our students.
