Parent Notification Preference

Las Virgenes USD strives to maintain strong communication to our families. We use both Aeries and ParentLink to send out notifications.


Together, these systems support notifying you via:

  • Direct Phone Calls

  • Direct Emails

  • SMS ( Text messages )

Verifying Your Contact Information

Recommendation: Please use a full desktop or laptop computer. Updating this information on a mobile/tablet device can be difficult.

1. Visit the website: https://parent.lvusd.org

2. Log in with your Parent Portal Account


3. Select Student Info menu and click on Data Confirmation


4. Click on the menu for Contacts.

5. Change / Add / Delete the contacts in this section. You should include All Parent and Emergency Contacts.

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Relationship to student

  • Cellphone/Mobile Number * This must be unique for each parent

  • Telephone Number

  • Notification Preference

    • * Choose "General and Emergency Announcements" to be added to ParentSquare *

Once these values are updated, your email will be added to the notification system within 48 hours.


Opting in to Parent Square Notifications

Text the word START to 66458. This will resume text messaging to your phone.
