Overview
The program focuses on helping students become independent digital creators, researchers, and problem-solvers. Students learn how to communicate ideas through presentations and digital designs, organize and present information effectively, and use online resources for research. Coding, typing, 3D printing, and AI introduce students to different ways technology can be used to create, design, solve problems, and explore new ideas. Digital citizenship continues throughout the program, emphasizing responsible research, appropriate use of AI, digital safety, and ethical technology use.

Digital Technology expands students’ digital skills by introducing them to presentation design, document creation, digital creativity, research, coding, and emerging technologies. Students learn to create and format presentations using PowerPoint, develop more advanced documents in MS Word, and explore digital design through Canva. They continue improving their typing and coding skills while learning effective online research strategies, including finding reliable information and using digital sources responsibly. Students also expand their technology vocabulary and are introduced to 3D printing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) through age-appropriate, hands-on activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
