In America, the national identity includes love of individualism, inventiveness, originality, personal choice, patriotism, and freedom.
integration - to combine two or more things to form or create something
cold war - the nonviolent conflict between the U.S. and the former U.S.S.R. after WWII ended in 1945
communism - government system where the central government has all political, economic, and social decision-making power
terrorism - using fear and violence as a way to demand changes
