Focus questions

Why do we have to have focus questions everyday? Brain research shows that learning will increase if the mind is “prepared” to receive it. Just like warming up the body before exercise, you get the most from your brain if it is warmed up and ready to go. By reviewing the material from the previous day, creating emotion, or introducing new ideas, you will learn more and more easily. Focus questions are worth the effort!

Expectations: After writing down your homework, begin work on the focus question usually found in Schoology. Unless the question says "list" make sure to write two COMPLETE sentences.

What if I'm absent?: At the earliest opportunity, make up the focus question. They will be graded every Saturday afternoon. If you are turning it in after Saturday, make sure to email me so I know to go back and look for your response.
