OPTION: Religious Studies

GCSE RS allows students to explore many issues that affect our daily lives from religious and secular points of view. Students following this course will: 

• Develop their knowledge and understanding of religious and non-religious beliefs, such as atheism and humanism; 

• Develop their ability to construct well-argued, well-informed, balanced, and structured written arguments, demonstrating their depth of knowledge of the subject; 

• Reflect on and develop their own values, belief, meaning, purpose, truth, and their influence on human life and understand what it means to be a global citizen in the 21st Century.
