PHOTOGRAPHY > APERTURE / DEPTH OF FIELD

Aperture refers to the opening in a camera lens through which light passes to enter the camera body.

Depth of Field refers to the range of distance within a photo that appears acceptably sharp and in focus. It is influenced by three main factors: aperture, focal length, and distance to the subject.

By adjusting the aperture, photographers can control the depth of field to achieve the desired artistic effect in their photos.
