Students will explore advanced technical elements and techniques of filmmaking by creating either a dream sequence or a chase scene. Each option challenges students to demonstrate their understanding of cinematic storytelling, camera work, editing, and sound design. The dream sequence emphasizes creative transitions, lighting, and surreal imagery to capture a sense of imagination or abstraction. The chase scene focuses on dynamic movement, pacing, and tension-building through varied camera angles and quick cuts. This project allows students to apply their skills in a focused and innovative way while enhancing their overall filmmaking proficiency.
