Networking
About the Course
Students will learn the basics of computer networking. Topics will range from TCP/IP, Linux and Windows virtualization, networking servers (DHCP, DNS, Web server, etc), switching, routing, and firewalls. Other topics will include wiring types, rack setups, Wireless Access Points, and the cloud. Computer Technician and a Linux course (Linux Server Admin or Pi’s and Python) are recommended prior to this course.

What You'll Do
Get hands-on experience setting up and deploying real servers (DHCP, DNS, web, AD)
Create patch panels with CAT6 cables using industry standard punch down tools.
Manage equipment remotely with RDP and SSH.
Understand how the internet really works.
Configure an enterprise wireless system.
Deploy clusters of enterprise routers.
Speed test your networks.
Prepare for the Comptia Network+ exam.
