This course challenges students to combine the skills learned in previous coursework and apply them. It is split into two domains: red team ethical hacking and enterprise blue team security. For part one, students will learn the basics of ethical hacking. Topics will focus on attack vectors, such as the OWASP top 10; however, it will also include report writing and vulnerability scanning. For part two, students will learn defensive skills to identify and stop common attacks. It is strongly recommended to take Networking and a Linux course (Linux Server Admin or Raspberry Pi’s and Python) prior to this course.
