He asistido a diferentes clases de Biología, Física y Química.
The job-shadowing experience at Atheneum Geraardsbergen in Belgium has been really enriching and inspiring. One of the most impressive aspects of the visit was the capacity of the institution, which has over 2,000 students with an outstanding level of organisation and educational quality.
The school’s facilities and resources were exceptional. We had the opportunity to explore well-equipped workshops in carpentry, bodywork, electricity, and healthcare, among others. These spaces reflect the school’s strong commitment to practical, hands-on learning and to preparing students for real vocational pathways. The school has aswell truly interesting spaces for collaboration and self centered learning available for pre-university students.
Worthy was also the school’s dedication to innovation in teaching and learning. Through the AGORA project, the centre promotes student autonomy and fosters the ability to “learn how to learn.” The AGORA classrooms are designed to encourage independence, collaboration, and critical thinking, offering students a dynamic and flexible learning environment.
Beyond the educational sphere, Belgium itself contributed to enrich the experience. The country’s cultural diversity, its remarkable biodiversity, and its deeply rooted cycling tradition—a hallmark of Belgian identity—added great interest to the visit, offering a wider perspective on local customs, lifestyle, and environmental awareness.
Overall, the job-shadowing stay at Atheneum Geraardsbergen has been a highly valuable professional opportunity, allowing us to deepen our understanding of innovative educational practices while discovering the cultural, natural, and sporting heritage of Belgium.
