Loomis Union School District uses California State Board of Education-adopted curriculum and instructional materials in accordance with California Education Code and Board policies.
Parents/guardians have the right to review curriculum and instructional materials used in their child's classroom and are encouraged to contact their child's teacher or principal with any questions or concerns. District staff are committed to working collaboratively with families to support the educational needs of all students.
In accordance with Board Policy 6144, families will receive an annual History-Social Science curriculum letter each fall identifying any supplemental materials or topics that may be introduced in addition to the board-adopted curriculum. Families can expect to receive this communication from their child's teacher by October 13.
Questions regarding curriculum or instructional materials may be directed to your child's teacher, principal, or the Educational Services Department.
