Multiplication fact fluency practice- multiplication flashcards
Division fact fluency practice
Try to bake or cook using a recipe but cut the recipe in half or double the recipe to experience fractions in action!
During meal times, divide the food equally using fractions (ex. 8 pieces of pizza but there are 10 people, how many of the pizza should each person receive?)
Practice dividing a bill for groceries or a meal out - if you had to split the cost, how much would each person at the table owe?
Track your daily screen time, then come up with common factors and multiples over each week's data
Pretend you want to paint a room or carpet a part of your home, find the area and then calculate how much material is needed and use a local ad to calculate the expected cost
