Multiplication fact fluency practice- multiplication flashcards
Practice finding angles of items around your home using a protractor
Find objects around your home to group by shape properties
READING
I can read on grade level with few mistakes
I can summarize, make inferences, compare/contrast elements of the story, identify main ideas/details, and identify the author's purpose on what I read
I can conduct research on a topic and write paragraphs about my new learning
SUGGESTED PRACTICE
Independent reading for 20+ minutes a day
Retell or keep a journal of what you read each day- focus on a specific aspect of the reading (author's purpose, compare/contrast, main ideas/details...)
Read to siblings or other relatives and ask them questions about what they heard
Research a topic that interests you- you could try to persuade someone to take action on something you learn
Read both fiction and non-fiction
Keep a journal, use complete sentences
