Mrs. Abele started working in LUSD in 2023. She is extremely excited to be teaching in a district where there is high value in the arts and arts education. Prior to teaching in Loomis, Mrs. Abele taught 1st-5th grade general music as well as Middle School Choir in Los Gatos, CA from 2008-2018. During that time, she was awarded the Goldin Foundation Award for Excellence in Education. 

Mrs. Abele received her Orff Schulerk certification through the San Francisco International Course in 2009 under the direction of Doug Goodkin, Sofia Lopez-Ibor, Paul Cribari, Christa Coogan, Richard Layton, and others. She has also studied for a year at the Orff Institute in Salzburg, Austria. Studying with 14 music educators from around the world, Mrs. Abele earned her Advanced Degree in Music and Dance Education- Orff Schulwerk. 

Mrs. Abele is excited to create music with the students of LBCS!
