Jeremiah Jacks is currently serving as music educator for the Loomis Union School District, and has been teaching for 25 years. In addition to his work as a music educator, Mr. Jacks has served as General Music Representative for CMEA Bay Section (California Music Educators Association), President of the Marin Music Educators Association and President of the American River Orff-Schulwerk Association. He has been a guest conductor for Sugarloaf Band Camp and Donner Mine Music Camp. He currently serves as Director of Music for Donner Mine Music Camp.  Mr. Jacks’ Concert Bands and Jazz ensembles have consistently received ratings of Unanimous Superior at festivals across California and Nevada. 

Mr. Jacks currently serves as Capitol Section General Music Representative.  He also serves as Rural Music Educators’ Representative on the CMEA State Council.  He has completed his level III Orff-Certification and has studied Orff-Schulwerk with Doug Goodkin, Sophia Lopez-Ibor, Rick Layton, James Harding, and Christa Coogan, among others. Mr. Jacks received the "Outstanding General Music Educator" award from CMEA Bay Section in January, 2014. Mr. Jacks was also awarded "Music Educator of the Year" by the Marin Symphony in 2014.
