Age: 16+ years

Snapchat is a free social networking app that lets users exchange pictures and videos (called snaps) that are meant to disappear after they're viewed.

1. Disappearing Content - Pictures and messages disappear after viewing. Setting available to save some messages for 24 hours.

2. Private Story - Users can share private stories with a select group of users.

3. Sexting - Snapchat has been referred to as the sexting app. With the idea that pictures and messages delete after viewing. However, users are able to "screen-shot" content and share with others.

4. Cyberbullying - Users will play "swipe up" games where one user will post “Send me an emoji and I’ll give you a name (or similar).” The user will then make a private comment about the name given. The comment will then be shared anonymously, but for all 'friends' to see.

5. Streaks - "Snapstreaks" appear in the form of a fire emoji. It means means that you and another Snapchatter have sent each other a Snap (either a photo or video) in the past 24 hours for at least THREE days in a row.
