A School Adjustment Counselor is dedicated to supporting students and their mental health needs within a school. Sometimes, this position is called a School Social Worker. School adjustment counselors/ School Social Workers meet one-on-one, or with groups of students, and provide social, emotional and behavioral support to students in order to foster healthy development in the academic setting.
