This year, students can sign up for band and lessons will be in-person in school. The easiest and quickest way to get an instrument is by renting! Students will have a choice on one of the following instruments that is offered this year to play: flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, F Horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone/euphonium, tuba, and drum/bell kits.

The National Educational Music Company, better known as NEMC, is one of the music companies the Long Branch School District uses for numerous reasons for all the band programs. While there are school instruments available for students to use on a "first come, first serve" basis, NEMC offers a payment plan for BRAND NEW INSTRUMENTS for your child, in which you have the option to purchase and keep later on at a great discounted price. Please refer to the EasyRent flyer on payment plan information for each instrument.

Parents and guardians, NEMC requires the following in order to rent an instrument for your child: 

1. Driver's License or any State ID

2. Birthdate

3. Place of employment

4. A credit card or debit card for payment
