Student Recognition and Privileges 

In each classroom the Responsibility Chart is used to encourage privileges and promote student responsibility.  Responsibility and privileges go hand in hand.  As a student demonstrates responsibility they are awarded privileges.  Privileges vary in each grade level.  Some privileges may include: 

Students will be able to...

• Move through the school without a  hall pass

• Choose a place in line

• Apply for student leadership opportunities 

• Choose a side of the lunch table

• Be recognized for grade level student of the week

• Play in the Y room at recess

• Other privileges as determined by teachers, grade levels, or the school

Through this system, students learn that responsible choices lead to increased opportunities, trust, and recognition within our school community.
