Arrival and Dismissal 

7:30 - 7:50 Students can enter the front cafeteria doors to eat breakfast and exit those doors to walk to the playground area behind the school

7:45 - 7:50 Students are dropped off and walk on the east side of the building to the playground area behind the school

7:50 - 7:55 Teachers greet students as they line up in their designated area (refer to map below)

7:55 - 8:00 Teachers guide students to enter the building

8:00 School begins 

Students should not arrive before the opening of the building, unless coming for breakfast. It is important to remember that there is no adult supervision on school grounds before 7:45 am and after 2:05 pm. Unless a child is involved with After-School Club, or other programs. The arrival bell rings at 7:50 am, music begins playing to enter the building at 7:55, and students are expected to be in their seats at 8:00 am.  The dismissal bell rings at 2:00 pm. 

Late Students:

8:00 - 8:15 Parents need to check in students with Mrs. Ingrid Sanchez at the playground entrance and will be marked  tardy

The following image shows the students morning designated area for their grade level behind the school after they arrive to school or finish eating breakfast. Look for the grade level area flags as you make it to the back of the school. 

2:05 School is Dismissed

Students will exit with their teachers.  Walking students will be escorted down the sidewalk and to the crosswalk.   Please refer to the procedures and map below for students being dropped off or picked up.  

Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures: 

1. Follow the traffic flow arrows on the map to prevent traffic jams

2. Students must be dropped off or picked up in the Pick-up Drop-off area (green zone) ONLY

3. Siblings will meet at the Pick-up Drop-off area

4. ALL students must exit/enter on the passenger side

5. Drivers pull all the way forward

6. Drivers wait in the roundabout (yellow zone) and pull forward to the 

 Pick-up Drop-off area (green zone) to drop-off or pick-up students

7. Once your child is dropped off or picked up, pull out and the cars behind you will pull forward to fill the gap

8. NO leapfrogging in line / double parking is NOT allowed

9. Drivers MUST stay in the car

10. ALL traffic must turn right when exiting 

11. Avoid turning left on 1200 North to improve traffic flow 

*Parents needing to assist their child out of the car must park in the lot and then walk their child

*Slow down: 10 mph SPEED LIMIT on school property

A friendly reminder to parents: double parking is not permitted. Parking in the “No Parking Buses Only” sections at any time of the day is not permitted. These parking violations will be closely monitored and if necessary, drivers will be ticketed. There is no parking allowed in the pick up/drop off sites at any time of the day. If students are not present at the pick up sites, parents will have to circle around until their student is readily available to be picked up. Alternative parking can be found across the street.
