Membership Requirements

In order to become a member of the Tri-M Music Honors Society here at Lodi High School, students will not only have to meet the beginning requirements, but they must then go through the application process. In order to meet the initial requirements, the student must be at least a sophomore, have taken at least one music class at LHS (choir, band, piano, or music theory), and maintain a specific GPA. Once those requirements are met, the student will be invited to fill out the application packet that is necessary to complete in order to join the society. Once they have completed the application packet, students must then participate in an audition in front of a panel of Lodi music teachers. Once both of these steps are completed, the chapter advisor will determine who they believe has met the expectations and will continue to be a valued member of the Tri-M Music Honors Society. Those students and their families will be invited to an induction ceremony where they will officially be welcomed as new members of the LHS Chapter of Tri-M.
