This course places emphasis on communicating in Spanish, imitating how you learned your first language through games, play, interaction and participation. Students will be expected to engage in an all-Spanish environment. Students interact with a variety of authentic materials that appeal to all different types of learners, as well as educate the whole student. In order to be successful, students will need to reach a minimum proficiency level of novice mid. This course will meet the world language, college admission requirement. This is a high school credit bearing class that will automatically have the credit and corresponding grade placed on the student's high school transcript. Students have until the end of their 11th grade year to remove the credit bearing course from their transcript. That request must be made through the student's high school counselor.
