Today we are going to write an imaginary holiday recount in the form of a postcard. As we are not able to go anywhere at the moment, we are asking you to pretend you went somewhere and write a recount about it! You can write about anything or anywhere you want but it needs to follow the recount structure.
A plain piece of paper (either coloured or white)
Some coloured pencils/textas
A grey lead pencil
Today we are going to learn about what it means to be grateful for someone. As we are nearly at the end of Remote Learning, you are going to choose someone who has helped you throughout this time, and write them a very special card.
Watch the videos and follow the instructions on the Google Slides. Then, open the assignment on Google Classroom (posted 8am Wednesday morning) to submit your work.
You will need:

Today you will get to choose one (or more if you would like) of the literacy activities to complete. You might like to write a recount, a persuasive writing piece, an information report or make connections between two texts you have read! It’s Free Choice Friday so choose your favourite activity, and have fun!
