Ask your child to find some items in your home that begin with the letter S.
Work together to say this work, then support your child in writing the letter S. They could write this using a crayon on some paper, or chalk on the ground. If you have a sandpit, children could even use their finger to write the letter S.
You might like to challenge them to write the whole word with your support.
