Google Slides is an app that allows you to easily collaborate and share presentations with text, photos, audio, or video files. Similar to Microsoft's PowerPoint, it's hosted online and can be accessed in a web browser from any device with an internet connection. All files created are saved to a student's Google Drive. Google Sheets, like other Google apps, can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection. It is part of Google Workspace for Education that includes other applications such as Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google Documents, Jamboard, etc.
