Students choose an area to focus on—most often in the career path they have chosen to pursue after high school, but areas of interest outside of academics are also a viable choice. The Capstone Project has two distinct but related components: preparation for life after high school in the form of resumes, interviews, and more that will be documented on Xello, and the development of a product, service, or experience that will be presented at the Capstone Celebration. Details of all components are linked below.
Final Project (product, service, or experience)
30 hours of work on the actual project (not including time spent on paperwork, compiling the portfolio, writing the reflection paper or thank you notes, or preparing presentation elements)
Log Sheet
Digital Portfolio that contains:
All required paperwork
Demonstration of the work behind the 8 goals
Documentation of the culminating project
2-Page Reflection Paper
Tri-fold Display Board

Presentation at Capstone Celebration in March of Senior year
