Leaders in Cohort 12, 13, and 14, read the following carefully.
You all have a mandatory requirement to complete a Summer Leadership Program. You can do this one of two ways. First, you can complete an External Summer Leadership Program. If you go this route you must:
Confirm with your PM that it counts as a Summer Leadership Program
Prove your acceptance
Complete the External Summer Leadership Program Form
Complete your External Summer Program Template 2026
Make a copy, complete it, and email it to your PM
All of this MUST BE DONE BY Retreat and Orientation Week (July 27th - July 31st)
Second, you can complete a Summer Leadership Program WITH LIT. These programs will take place in June 2026. In order for this you count, you must:
Commit to everyday of the program
Participate and engage
Understanding Consequences
Cohort 12: Failure to complete a Summer Leadership Program means you CANNOT return to LIT and your spot will be given to a new rising Senior.
Cohort 13 + 14: Failure to complete a Summer Leadership Program means you get a strike and are unable to join Fall 2026. You will be welcomed back during Spring 2027. You will still have a requirement to complete your 4 events and schedule check-ins with your PM.

This 3-day Summer Leadership Program will show and allow Leaders to practice how to write newsletters/shorts/videos for personal gain and experience.
We LIT Outside (Overnight Camping Trip)
Date : June 17th - 18th
Location: LIT Office (included off-site excursions)
This overnight trip will support Leaders in learning more about the outdoors + environmental justice + exploring the biodiversity of Nevada. We will have a field trip to the Ice Age Fossil State Park.
