Agriculture

Students will:

· Develop knowledge and skills, regarding career and educational opportunities, personal development, globalization, industry standards, details, practices, and expectations.

· Be prepared for a career in agriculture, food, and natural resources.

· Have the opportunity to grow and tend to different plants, hatch chicks, make ice cream and butter, taste foods from other parts of the world, construct birdhouses and string art.

· Learn about Honey Bees and collect honey from school hives.

· Create Homecoming Mums and Garters, Seasonal Artwork, sympathy and wedding flower arrangements, centerpieces for school engagements.

· Build relationships with horses, pigs, cows, and other animals while learning their care and lifestyle needs.

· Apply biology and chemistry to feeding and caring for the reproduction of animals
