EDITING YOUR HEADER

There are options to personalize your header. You can be safe and use the stock images provided. Or, if you want to be more original you can use your own photos or images you designed yourself. It is important for you to know not to break any copyright laws by using images that don't belong to you.

HYPERLINKING TO WORK SAMPLES

Variety is the key to an impressive portfolio. You should try to add different file types. This will demonstrate your level of technical knowledge and skill. You can add docs, slides, sheets, forms, charts, videos etc. The key is to know when to embed a piece of work and when to link to a piece of work. Its all about being creative and displaying a good use of space. Use the videos to the right for some helpful hints and ideas.

EMBEDDING WORK SAMPLES

Embedding files is a great way to add visuals to your site. As opposed to hyperlinking. You can embed any file type. Be sure to add a complete reflection in a text box beside your work sample. Also, be sure to set permissions on each piece of work.

ADDING PAGES & OTHER HELPFUL HINTS

If you need more space, you can add additional pages. As long as you demonstrate proficiency in the schools graduation expectations, you can do it your way. In this video you will learn to add pages and subpages. You may want to build a concept map before you get started. We will also cover some other helpful tools to help with our overall presentation.
