Use of Space and Time

There are study halls and classes in the IMC during the day but other students and/or classes are able to be scheduled in.

IMC personnel are dedicated and efficient.

The IMC is a welcoming place to be. We do what we can to draw students in.

IMC spaces are used for staff meetings, clubs/activities, group meetings, etc.

The collection supports curriculum and teaching.

Areas that would benefit from being strengthened

• Library personnel are responsible for supervision as well as library duties and working with staff and students. Library personnel also have other duties in the district.

• More opportunity to work with teachers. Staff checkouts have declined.

• Would benefit from a dedicated 'free-choice' reading time within the upper (6-12) grade levels, coordinated, in part, with classroom or study-hall hours to encourage participation.
