Collaborative Leadership

Serve on various committees such as curriculum and district planning.

Time to meet with teachers and/or administrators if requested.

Library curriculum focuses on ITL standards such as Digital Citizenship, Research Skills, Keyboarding, BadgerLink, accessing databases, copyright laws, avoiding plagiarism, search strategies, identifying fake news versus legitimate sources, evaluating websites, etc.

Supporting staff with their curriculum needs.

Teaching students and teachers how to access IMC materials via the Alexandria catalog.

Areas that would benefit from being strengthened:

• Strengthening IMC curriculum and being fully aligned with Information and Technology Literacy Standards (ITLS).

• More time and/or personnel to focus on IMC needs, training, skill, and teaching.

• Time at the end of the school year, or within the summer break, to pull EOY IMC activities together. Inventory, organization, etc.
